Maria (Mia) S. Rosenfeld      

Practice Focus

Ms. Rosenfeld possesses extensive civil litigation experience with broad-based and balanced litigation skills in developing cases for efficient trial presentation (and/or disposition via law and motion). 

Ms. Rosenfeld has a general civil litigation background, including business litigation, commercial law, insurance litigation, professional liability, and employment law.  She also has experience counseling clients on employment matters and handling employment related administrative hearings.

Professional History

Ms. Rosenfeld has worked as a civil litigation attorney since 1996, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  She has practiced in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice defense (especially lawyers), complex litigation (asbestos defense), business litigation, and employment discrimination/wrongful termination. She is well-versed in mediation and in negotiating settlements in cases warranting resolution at the pre-trial stage.

Ms. Rosenfeld has been a member of the California State Bar since December 1996 and is presently admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Central Districts of California.


Ms. Rosenfeld obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1993. In May of 1996, Ms. Rosenfeld obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
