Mr. Shabani is a well-rounded litigation attorney who aggressively, but professionally, represents the interests of his clients in all aspects of civil litigation

Professional History

Mr. Shabani represents clients in matters ranging from real estate transactions to complex federal and state civil litigation and appeals. He represents clients in matters involving partnership disputes and claims involving  breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud and misrepresentation, as well as in the areas of business torts, unfair competition, lien priority disputes, real estate disputes, negligence, professional liability matters, and collections. He has represented developers, contractors, subcontractors, and individuals in construction defect litigation, mechanics’ lien litigation, and insurance matters. 

Mr. Shabani also represents clients in trademark infringement, patent infringement and copyright infringement litigation. He has represented trademark applicants in successfully obtaining trademark registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”).

Mr. Shabani represents employers and employees in proceedings stemming from wage and hour issues, as well as Fair Employment and Housing Act (“FEHA”) disputes. 

Education

Omid Shabani obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double-major in Political Science and Legal Studies from University of California, Berkeley. 

He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2009, and he has been an active member of the California State Bar since 2009.

While in law school, Mr. Shabani received a Dean’s Scholarship, an Alumni Scholarship, the Tracy G. Helms Memorial Scholarship, and the B. Abbot Goldberg Memorial Scholarship, as well as an Honors at Entrance Scholarship. Mr. Shabani was an editor and author for the California Initiative Review. He acted as a Teacher’s Assistant and Workshop Leader in McGeorge’s Trial and Appellate Advocacy Program, and he earned a Certificate of Advocacy from McGeorge.
